This is a style that used to be popular in Kentucky, in the US, before prohibition. Using Lager yeast fermented at high temperatures, this beer brings out a great harmony between the yeast, corn, and rye making for easy drinking.

Wandanchi, meaning Watashi Tachi (us) in Aomori dialect, perfectly represents the concept of the In Cahoots series. This time round we teamed up with Be Easy Brewing to bring you a a crisp and tropical NZ Pils. Whether in the frigid north of Aomori, or the concrete jungle of Tokyo, sit back, relax, and enjoy a pint or four.

Starting with an Imperial Oatmeal Stout base, we blended in a Sherry Cask aged Imperial stout, added some coffee, and a touch of vanilla. The result, an incredibly drinkable high ABV stout. Have no remorse in enjoying 2 or 3 of these in a sitting.
